Cognos vs. Watson

I know I am late on this but still wanted to ask. What is Watson's role compared to Cognos? Is it a higher level of analytics then Cognos offers? Is it either-or/and  (Cognos or Watson or Cognos and Watson?) How does it effect the need for Cognos in the industry?

Heya! I haven't found many resources regarding this question so I took Watson for a spin and put my thoughts up on my blog, http://ibmblueview.com. From the rumblings I've heard + my own impression I believe Watson and Cognos coexist and that Watson's look and some functionality will be coming to Cognos in the next MAJOR release.
