Hi Chaps,
When I insert data into QUERY STUDIO. I got an error like "QE-DEF-0325 The logon failed for the following reason:RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at least one database during a multi-database attach to 1 database(s) in: great_outdoor_sales UDA-SQL-0569 Unable to load the driver manager library ( libdb2.so ).UDA-SQL-0571 The operating system returned an error message ( libdb2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory )".
I had added the library path as ":/opt/ibm/db2/V10.5_01/lib64:/opt/ibm/db2/V10.5_01/lib32 "into the environment variable but still happened this error. Help to resolve this error. Using DB as DB2 OS as Cent OS.
Thank you.
Have a nice day

Hi,

If I had to guess, I'd wager you installed the 64-bit DB2 client? For use with Cognos, you need the 32-bit DB2 client. See the technote below:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21461123

Incidentally, Cent OS doesn't appear to be a supported OS to host Cognos:

http://www-969.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity-reports/report/html/osForProduct?deliverableId=1391013543612

I realize it's supposed to be functionally compatible with RHEL, but it's not a supported platform.

MF.
