Hi there,
Currently I have cognos on AIX server.
There was a requirement to install cognos on websphere.
I took the backup of old configuration and content store.
Unfortunately the new installation is also on the same server.
As I am still facing issues with websphere so I am trying to restore my old cognos setup but getting the Error - User is already authenticated in all available namespaces  when I try to open the link in internet explorer.
old one was /opt/IBM/cognos
and new one is /opt/IBM/Websphere/cognos  which is still not working.

Please suggest.

The error you have posted is a generic error that simply means authentication is problematic. You haven't told us what authentication provider you are using, how you are connecting to it, whether you are using single-signon or prompted signon... I'd check the settings for the authentication namespace in Cognos Configuration as a first step, if I was you...

Cheers!

Sorry forgot to mention that. I am actually totally new to this technology. and not sure of even very generic or common things. trying to learn through this forum.
Thanks a lot for response buddy.

We are using LDAP default value for IBM Tivoli in Authentication -> Namespace.
