All, have installed 10.2.1 FP2 and getting the following errors when uploading to the library the visualizations.  Loading the 10.2.1.1 viz files and also tried the 10.2.1 viz files.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

VGS-GAL-1003 Invalid visualization format

VGS-GAL-1008 Unable to load visualization

VGS-GAL-1010 Invalid visualization definition

Hi,

Where did you get the visualizations from? Each one should be a zip file comprising a vizbundle - which contains a definition.xml file, an implementation.json file and a number of other files for properties and images.

You might try downloading a single visualization from analyticszone.com and importing this - does it work? If so, grab all of the others from there too.

Cheers!

MF.

It came from Analyticszone.com, and I tried the bundle and a single one.  No luck on both, same error.

Hmmmm. You're not the first to get this, it seems:

I'd try logging it with IBM Support if I were you. I haven't seen errors like this and never had to try to debug. Sorry!

Was anyone able to get past this issue?

We're receiving the same 3 errors trying to import the viz's (either the 10.2.1 or 10.2.1.1 standard) into our 10.2.1.2 environment.

Any insight/advice is appreciated!

having same issue now, we have 10.2.1 BI server

Ooops!

what I was trying to do was upload the zip files that bundles the sample vis zip files.
That's why im getting the errors.
I tried to import the samples 1 by 1, it succeeded.

If you are referring to the zipped viz bundles - then these must be imported via a deployment import not via the library import via the admin console.
