Data Item Properties - "Detail" & 'Calculation Intersection"

Hello Cognoise,

I have a very basic question which came to my attention. We have a list of many Data Item properties in the Property pane; out of those what does the "Detail" and "Calculation Intersection" properties does ? I read the description when we select the specific property, but I couldn't comprehend it. I would appreciate if any one of you could elaborate with an example.

I don't know I'm afraid - in 10 years I've never needed to make use of them. Unless they're causing you a problem, or you've got a particular issue that you need to solve and those two properties are going fix it for you, I wouldn't worry about them.

Thanks a lot for your response. I was just curious. Since we have those options, I gave a thought that it would beneficial in the future if we gather knowledge about it.
