Diffrent scenario prompt Filter

Hi Anybody please clear explaination

I have 2 scenario first scenario Filter Working,second scenario  Filters not working what diffrent between


1st scenario(1st Report):
I create List( i fill list data)
Then I create Values rompt.

2nd scenario(2nd Filter):
I create Values Prompt
Then I create List(I Fill list Data)


Both side  prompt properties:Auto-submit=yes

here both filter i select values 1st scenario only Filter Values
2nd I select Filter It not Filter

Whan you create a prompt by dragging in a prompt object from the toolbox, it will automatically create an underlying filter if you have something in the report that has a query. In your first scenario, the list (and its query) is already present, so the filter is (correctly) added to the query of the list.

In the second scenario, the query for the list is not present when you create the prompt, so the filter is not automatically added to it. In this case, you need to add the relevant filter yourself to the query of the list once the list has been added to the report.
