Greetings,

First of all want to remark that i am a rookie for Cognos :) and just found this platform when i was searching the net about some cognos help.

I have some Excel reports that i want to publish to cognos. I just cant figure something out.

Is there a way to use conditional formatting in a list, that formats entire columns based on the values but with continious color (Like in Excel)

When i tried to do that, formatting tool always asks me to specify the breaking points, but i dont want to specify any point just want to format all column like a heat map.

I added the sample that i made in excel.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

No, this isn't the way conditional highlighting works in Cognos 10, sorry. You will need to determine the colours and thresholds and specify them.

Cheers!
