Creating dashboard in TM1

I am new to Cognos. I need to create dashboard in TM1 using excel as data source. Version is Cognos TM1 10.2.2

Are you talking about adding a TM1 widget to a Cognos BI dashboard? or creating an application for example approvals and contribution?
