Hello everyone. I've been through all the posts dealing about this but some are a bit old and none has record of someone using the SDK SO : I wonder :

We are using COGNOS 10.2.1 FP4 with Active Directory as LDAP source and the SSO is set up and running. Now we're facing as many of you the 'you must change your password every x days' policy (which is a good thing I think). It won't be much trouble for cognos access but it will be for scheduled reports since credantials are stored and not renewed automatically when SSO is set up ( http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21591076 )

So the tons of scheduled reports that were planned by my key users WILL fail according to IBM documentation AND my own testing. Unless I drop ths SSO. Don't want to. Or I can use the SDK to renew automatically the credentials (
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21344318)
BUT :
1. I don't have it and it's too expansive so I probably won't have access to it.
2. I don't know the language so it would take some time I guess.

I Know I can use a third 'never expire' account but it's raising questions : x users = x different accounts otherwise there's no way to know who is the launcher and it means new accounts with high privileges so it uses licenses.
Plus it forces us to have a service account used by key users that never expires : NOT very compliant with the diseried policy.

So HAS SOMEONE found a workaround or at least managed to use the SDK for thi purpose?
