How to create an custom sorting in tree prompt

Hi Everyone,

Tree prompt child members under a parent member are sorted based on alphabetical order(Default).

The scenario is to get child members under a parent member in the dimension([Product]) are sorted based on a custom order. I am using Cognos 10.2.1.

Please suggest how to solve this requirement.

Hi,

I am solved this scenario. First i create sort order key. Then select tree prompt properties, click sorting and select the data item(sort order key) is ascending order. Now it works.

I have another problem report page.

Custom sorting not worked in cross tab report. But it worked in list report. For your reference i will attached sample xls output.

Please suggest your valuable thoughts.
