Drill up in Report Studio

Hi All,

I have a products dimension and I am showing 3 different Level 2 products like set(A,B,C) from the same dimension.

Now I have a crosstab and in rows it has Reps and then these three products as a set(A,B,C) are nested .

Now when I set up drill behaviour, it works fine . when I drill on product A it drills down to next level. But doing drill up on this A,B or C takes it to its upper level which is ideally correct , but I want this A,B,C to be fixed and allow only drill downs on it.

If I disable drill up on this A,B,C on drill settings  , the whole drill up will not work meaning if he drills down on product A , he cannot come back to where he started.


Is there a way to achieve this in the dimensional package .

Please let me know if I am not clear with my requirement.

Hi All ,

Is there a way to disable drill up for a particular item as mentioned in the below post.If I disable drill up for this item then the whole drill up will not work. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The automatic drill up/down are not really intended to be tweaked like you are asking. If you want control over where they drill to/from, you can create your own series of drill-through reports that will seem to function like the automated drill up/down, but you will have control where clicking the link will take them.
