Impromptu report results in error at Upfront

Hi,
I have developed an impromtu report which runs fine at our end, but when it is deployed to upfront the following error is generated-
"
Application Error
Page generation error while preparing a page based on template: iwr_modifyprompts.utml.
The content request 'DescribeNewsItem' has failed.
There was a syntax error in the XML response.
Please contact your administrator.
"
What could be the possible reasons and how do we rectify this?

It appears that there was a problem with the publish.

Try republishing it.

Also if you have access to the IWR server then log into, open iwradmin.exe and use CTRL+O combination to open the report under question.

If there is a problem with the report you will notice it better this way than through the portal
