Have you ever wanted to specifiy a width for the global area in a Workspace?

I find no information whatsoever on that matter, leading me to suspect it can't be done.
BUT, I have one workspace that magically retains the global area size I set it to. The thing is I don't what I did differently for that one!

Thanks all!

Self answer, you're welcome!

When choosing the placement of the Global Zone, the default it "Opposite Content". It then sits on the left.
But you could also select "Left" from the list. In which case it also sits on the left side BUT it'll remember the size you set it to and save.

This property is found under Menu Layout and Style, Edit Workspace Style, Tabs and Global Area, Position, Global Area

Hope this helps someone one day!

Brilliant! We've been having this problem for months and are just about to go live with some content this week so I can now get this annoyance sorted beforehand!
