Hi,

Can anyone help me in alignment issue such as spilting of cells in excel output.  The values should be shown in single cell but it is showing in more than 1 cell. How to make this to be displayed in single cell.  Please help me.
I am attaching the screenshot for your references.

Thanks.

Hi,

Is this only happeing in one of your reports or only this one?
Do you have any other queries at the top of the excel sheet so the list object we see at the picture is getting messed up?

If you copy this list object only to another page in cognos and see if that may solve the issue maybe?

Try setting the below parameter to true in the dispatcher. It works for me.

RSVP.EXCEL.XLS2007_ALLOW_WRAPPING_SINGLE_CELL

Hi All,

Thanks for your response.
Yes if i keep list in the separate page, the issue will be resoloved but the format contains header section in the top and the header section contains 2 logos (left, right) and title in center.

Do we need set any property for the particular column to avoid this merging?  Please advise.

My apologies for the late reply due health issue.

Thanks.

If you specify width for the list headers or cells it is possible for the columns/rows to span across multiple cells in excel.
To avoid you can create a style variable/conditional style which will set width only for the HTML, not for excel.
