I have a report that goes from summary to detail and back.
It can take a moment for the transition to take place.
During this time the report is frozen and the user does not know that the report is running.
During this transition period the users click frantically on the page.

Is there a way to indicate that the report is running, like an hour glass or message that would let the user know that the report is busy but working?

Thank you.

The simple answer is... no. :)

Not as far as I'm aware, anyway. Maybe you could add some text to the report that says "Dear user, do not click frantically if the report appears to have stopped. Chill. Relax. Kick back and relax for a short moment." :)

Thanks for the clarification. I'm going with the text option!
