Spanning accross the group

Hi,

I want to use the distinct values from the column that is group spanned across another column. But I am facing problems with this.

For Ex. In the attached Image:

The first column is groupped and there are two rows for this groupped item.Last column has values YES or NO. I want to use this last column to create a new calculation  that will display 1 or 0 correponding to YES or NO.Now after this I want to total this to get the summary.But since there are two or more rows I am facing problems with summary.When I group span the last column accross  the first column then it shows single value in the last column but it does not give single value for 'YES' or NO.It gives for each row. I need it for total. How can it be done?
