Is it possible to change the aggregate method to none within query studio.  The data item comes in with an aggregation of total.

Hi!

I think it is possible.
In Query explorer you select data item and in properties windows you see option 'Aggregate function', change that value to whatever aggregation method you want.
Example screenshot of the window: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qFmZNlRXL60/T9I_ZP6s3bI/AAAAAAAAAB8/zji_riMy4zg/s1600/retn+-+properties+window.png

Hope this helped!

Hi,

The instructions and image you posted here are completely correct for Report Studio. They are not relevant to Query Studio though, sadly.

If you are referring to the aggregation within footers, you can select the column, click on the "Edit Data" link in the blue area on the left, and select "Summarize". This allows you to choose how the value is aggregated in footers in the report.

If you are referring to how the measure values get automatically aggregated within the cells of the list column, then click on the "Run Report" link in the blue area, select "Advanced Options", and uncheck the option for "Automatically summarize detail values, suppressing duplicates".

Cheers!

MF.

HI ERL,

Please follow below mentioned steps so that you can remove aggregations automatically

>From the Manage File menu, click My Preferences.
>Click Advanced Run-time Options.
>In the Query Options dialog box, choose an option:
To turn off the automatic generation of footer summaries for measures, clear the Automatically generate footer summaries for measures check box.
