Hi,

There are quite a few RAVE map visualizations around - I think IBM's RAVE Tiger Team have written most of them. They don't appear to be up on the AnalyticsZone site though. I heard a rumour CognosPaul might have some of them? I'm guessing he must know someone in IBM or within an IBM business partner that has access to them. I'd suggest your best option is to talk to your IBM account manager and see if someone in IBM can send you the map visualizations.

Cheers!

Which map?

You asked if there are any RAVE map visualizations available. I answered that yes, there are, and you can probably get them from IBM. What does custom layers have to do with getting visualizations? What do you mean by "create custom layers"? A visualization is a collection of code bundled into a zip file. You provide data values for it from within your report. The shapes and colours are coded into the vizJSON of each specific visualization. Is this what you mean?

No was just wondering how would this map have data mapped. My data has location value as Regions like west, east which is grouped based on zip codes. So I have to create a custome layers and then map with the actual data right.I will check once i get the maps rave control.

Thanks,

I'm assuming it's via co-ordinates. You'd need to look at the map visualizations once you have them to be sure, though.
