Scrollbar issue on report studio report

Hi have a list report and the users are asking to get rid of horizontal scroll bar. I was able to achieve it by applying fixed width on couple columns. Now when I run the report within report studio I don't see a horizontal scroll bar. But the same report when accessed from connection, the horizontal scroll bar is showing up. I tried everything like applying size and overflow properties, paddings, margins and no luck. How can I avoid this horizontal scroll bar and for some reason it happens only when I run the report from connection? I dont get the scroll bar when I open the report in RS and run it.

Try to put the list inside a block,  then edit the Size & Overflow properties of the block.

Also bear in mind that different users might well be using different screen resolutions...in which case the scroll bar may be needed.
