how to add image to a report on my local machine for practice purpose

Hi
Where i can keep the images it means in iis server in which folder i am supposed to save the image, and how to get the url. while working with local machine for practice purpose.
plz tell the steps

I put my image files in <cognos install location>\webcontent\samples\images

I can then refer to them as ../samples/images/<imagename> in the url

Thanks MF. I did what ever u mentioned , but when i refer  url, it displays an error, that webDAV is not enabled . So plz tell me what is webDAV and how to enable it.

Just search for the word "WebDav" on the page. You should be able to enable the WebDav after going through this document.

Thanks for sharing link, but bro I m using XP Professional with IIS 5.1

Not saying you cannot find a way to make it work, but that is not a supported environment.

It means, at the time of IIS 5.1, images were not used in the report in industry. Then before iis 7, how they used to import images into the report.
