Override scale for primary axis on bar/line chart

Hi

I have a problem where I have set minimum and maximum values on the primary axis which works fine where all data values on the chart stay within the boundaries. However, if I set a scale where data values go above the boundaries the auto scale seems to override the maximum point. I need to be able to have fixed values on the axis irrespective of what the data is underneath. I know in Cognos 8 I never had this problem, can anybody help?

The data source if it makes any difference is an SSAS 2008 cube.

thanks
Lloyd

Hi,

I have recreated your issue on Cognos 10.1.1 and see the same issue when you set the scale value use the new chart type which concludes me to believe its a bug and you might need to reach out IBM Cognos and create an APAR request. But there is work aorund for now if you use the legacy chart authoring you can set the scale and the scale will behave the way you need it too like in Cognos 8.

Thanks,
RK

I am having the same issue in 10.2.1

Is there a workaround?
