Display filters on a report

How do I display all of the filter name/value pairs, preferably with the operator, in the page footer. I want to do this in a template or a layout library to avoid doing the same thing several hundred times.

How do I display all of the filter name/value pairs, preferably with the operator, in the page footer. I want to do this in a template or a layout library to avoid doing the same thing several hundred times.

Unfortunately, there's no easy way to do this. Adding filter displays is a manual process, involving text items and (if prompts are used) layout calculations. It would be really good if IBM added the ability to show filter expressions easily in the report layout, but this is just one of those enhancements on the "I wish" list (for me) :)
