Hi,

I just upgraded to IE 11 and now all the reports are showing up blank unless I resize IE and scroll on the blank window.  This doesn't happen in Firefox, nor in IE 10 previously.  Am seeing this on 10.2.1 and 10.2.1 FP2.

Cognos is in trusted sites, popups are enabled, XSS filter is disabled, and site is the Compatability View list.  I am officially out of ideas, and looks like IBM is too.

Anyone have the same problem?  Misery is seeking company.

It is quite possibly the browser that is at fault. Are you running your browser in compatibility mode when you go to Cognos?

Go here to view compatible browsers.

Hi,

Already using Compatibility Mode.  Still have the problem.

If this just happened after you went to IE11, I would uninstall that Windows Update and IE will revert back to 10. This could save you some short term misery  :)

Hi,

Yeah, reverting to IE 10 is fine but we have to go with IE 11 for other reasons.

I think in IE 11 you have to add your Cognos gateway website to the 'websites you've' added to Compatibility View.  It works for me.  We are running 10.2.1 FP3.

Hi,

The issue is caused by a page refresh problem in the Cognos viewer.  If you have more than 1 data source defined, and if the list of data sources requires you to scroll in order to click the OK button, the prompt page of the report will not display unless you resize the window in order to get the scroll bars to appear.  Very convoluted, but was reproduced by IBM on 10.2.1 using IE 11.  This does not occur in older IE versions.
