Is it possible to build tabs in dashboard via report studio(not active reports) in cognos 10.1

How to show drill path, when you drill down in a list report built using a DMR model. Is it even possible. I am facing a hard time to search the solution for it.

There is a published technique for your second requirement - take a look here:

For the Tabs option, there's nothing rolled into Report Studio to do this. I would be tempted to create a set of reports - one for each tab - and either use Cognos Workspace to deliver these in separate tabs, or else create portal pages for each report and add these as tobs into the user's Cognos Connection portal tabs.
