That would probably be difficult for someone to answer because it is vague and lacks sufficient detail. Your question is also vague and lacking detail. Is this an interview question you are trying to prepare for?

On top of Lynn's fine remark, I'll add that performance tuning of a report is treated as art, when it is in fact hard science for the most part (Say, 90 percent hard science, 5 percent art, 5 percent absolute voodoo). If the framework model works fine for X reports, and one report is lagging, don't look for answers in the framework model - rather, start from the report.
