Error : 'sqlOpenResult' status='-28'

Hello ,


During the report run , i get this error . [ Error screenshot attached. ]

'sqlOpenResult' status='-28'

The error doesnt appear in every run.
For some combination of the filters the report executes well with the desired output . [ Report has time filters and cascaded product filters ]
But for other cases , the report either hangs up after the prompt values have been submitted or throws the error as mentioned above [ scrshot attached ]

what might be the possible cause for this error. Do we have any references to the error codes and their meaning for Cognos ?
