Storing user credentials on cognos mobile

Hi,

For executive users, we want the user session to remain active in mobile/tab till the user logs off manually. We have set the CredentialCache.DurationHours property to maximum as per the suggestion from ibm-

Still the users are getting logged out from the device and they need to put credentials intermittently.

Can any body suggest any solution for this?

This is by design. It is a huge security risk to allow users to have authenticated connection that doesn't expire. If the device was lost and fell into the wrong hands, it would be open for anyone to see and extract sensitive information from the Cognos server.

You do have the option of sending Active Reports to a mobile device after first taking them out of the Cognos security environment - either by emailing the MHT to the device or by copying it in via iTunes. Might be an option for you?

Yupp, this is the plan 2 we have.
