Hi,

Is it possible to add animation with the help of a Data Drop Down List or Button ?
I am trying to select a List object under Data drop down list, but don't find any option to set animation on the same.

Hi,

I'm curious how you envision this working? What exactly do you want to happen to the list in terms of animation?

The only suggestion I can make is to bring in a deck or a data deck and put the list inside this, then set a slide animation direction on the (data) deck which is selected by your control.

Cheers!

I am using 3 Static Tab Controls. Still unable to find how to default it to centre tab.
Inside which Data Drop Down List is present, which filters record on the list.
I am trying to add some animation while displaying list on the change of entity in the drop down.

Do you mean three separate tab controls or one tab control with three tabs? If the latter, whatever variable the tab control sets, make sure the default value for this variable is the value (label) of the centre tab.

As I mentioned above, put the list inside a data deck. Set up a link between the data drop down list and the data deck. Add a master/detail relationship between the list and the data deck. Then set the animation slide direction you desire on the data deck.

Cheers!

This is done. Thanks MF.

Also, Can we have something search prompt or filter in active reports.
Like my customer types an Advisor name and it should highlight or give the list accordingly ?

There is no concept of a type-in control in an active report. You could implement a checkbox control and have it select the list - this will highlight the chosen row. No typing, though :)

Cool. Ok. I take it as a limitation as you said it ;)

Also, can we freeze column headers in Active reports for better viewing and detail level scroll on iPad and iPhone ?

Might be possible with javascript but it isn't supported if it's even possible :)

Need a help.
I have a product type field with values MF, MAG, SMA, Model.
How do I handle to show either MF or ALL, using a Toggle button for Active list report.

Sounds like a job for a deck with two cards?

I just made made a union of 2 similar queries where in 1 was filtered by MF and the other did not.
Made use of a discrete slider with static values to populate the list with some hide/unhide column logic. :)

Cool! So now I exist in your data too!? :)

Thanks for sharing the solution!
