Duplicate values for Quarter Parameter Prompt

Hi,

I have setup a parameter to prompt value for quarter in the report and when i run the report I see duplicate values for Quarter  prompt. It repeats 3 times for each quarter like

2
2
2 .....

I have changed the aggregate and rollup function to automatic however duplicates are not getting eliminated.
There is also no distinct function.
How can I resolve this issue.

Is this a dimensional source? If so then perhaps these are different quarter members corresponding to the various years in your source.

It's virtually impossible to give you an accurate answer based on the scarce information you have provided. We could guess (as Lynn is doing above), but chances are the guesses will not be correct (unless Lynn is using her amazing clairvoyance trick again). Why haven't you described in detail how your prompt values are being populated? Why haven't you told us if it is a relational or dimensional package? Why haven't you described how your data values for quarters is structured? We're here to help, but (with the possible exception of Lynn) we can't know what you have done and how your data is defined. The only way for us to know is if you tell us.
