Tables not showing in SQL after running Analyst Publish wizard

Hi all,

I'm currently investigating this issue for a customer and would like some pointers if possible. This is through Cognos Analyst 10.1.1.

I'm logged in as an admin user and am running through the Analyst Publish Wizard process to publish some D-Cubes in Table-only layout. I go through the steps (enter database connection details and test successfully, select the Library and D-Cubes, etc). I get through to the end and after clicking "Finish", the process completes in almost a second and flashes up the "publish successful" box.

However, when I go into SQL Server and expand the list of database tables, they are not showing up in the list, which suggests that the process did not publish the tables. I've checked the PEL but there is nothing in there and the only other logfile that has been updated within the same timeframe is the C8ITK.log file, and that also has nothing in it that would explain what is going on.

Has anyone else experienced this issue before?

Many thanks,
Dev

Further to this, I've enabled epDebugToolViewer, set the level to "Trace" and ran through the process again. Unfortunately, there were no errors recorded or anything that would suggest an error with Analyst. Next step is to try and do some tracing at the database level and see if the process actually hits the database at all.
