cant create query subject in FM

Hi all,

I am getting the following error on creating query subjects..BMT-MD-0003 RQP-DEF-0060 The source of the query subject CARTON_HDR is invalid.

Hi

  What datasource you are using?
Are you writing the query to get the table, If yes then first check the datasource whether that table is present in the database.

Hi,
    I am trying to create a model query subject from the existing query subjects in the model.i have created a package and published it and  it works fine, but when I try to create a new query subject or import data from other models it throws error.. please let me know if there are restrictions set any where for security issues.

You are saying that you are not able to create a model query subject based on existing query subjects. This is what you are trying to say?

You are getting issue while creating a datasource query subjct or model query subject?

Can you explain the smt in details you entered "I try to create a new query subject or import data from other models it throws error."

   You are right..I am not able to create model query subjects based on existing query subjects. 

But all the tables that are used in the current model are present in the database. i have attached the error snapshot along.

We do not have access to database from the model. So cant test  data too..

You should have access to the database from the model. Database access is needed for meta data as well as for data.
