cognos 8.4 transformer will work in cognos 10.1 or not

HI
Can I create model in cognos 8.4 transformer and publish into the cognos 10.1 portal.Will it work, or anything I  need to do.

I have installed cognos 8.4 transformer , going to create a model, but cognos bi server is 10.1, can we create cube report in this scenario.
Please get the point . reply me ,,,

Probably... but I wouldn't recommend it. Use transformer 10.1 and you will be fine.

Why would you do that? You should always match version numbers of client tools with server versions. Always.

The problem is that i dont have transformer 10.1 , please tell me how to get this s/w. i searched in google and torrentz. Please give me a link, where i can get this s/w.

Torrentz? Are you really admitting on a public forum, populated by IBM employees, hosted by one of the world's leading IBM software resellers and business partners, that you are searching illegal download sites to try to get an illegal install of an IBM product? I'm (almost) speechless!
The only place you can legally go to in order to acquire IBM software is the IBM Passport Advantage Online site. Once you log in with your IBM Customer Number you can happily download all entitled IBM installs.
