grouping

I need the grouped items to be on top of the list, not on the left side.  Does anyone know how to position them above the list.  P.S. I can't use a section header either because my report requires that the same query is used.

what about just simple header...

group the column..then set the property of list to list above the details and then apply the list headers and footers...
