Average in crosstab...getting a wrong value in the intersection

Hello all,

I have a crosstab table as follows

1) On the far right, was added 1 query calculation column that is "average" of each row.
2) On the very bottom, was added 1 query calculation row that is the "average" of each value in the columns above

Problem:

I am getting the expected average value everywhere except where both the query calculation fields intersect.
At the intersection cell of these two summaries, on the far bottom right, the cell is showing a wrong value. I need to display in this cell the average of the values in the row directly above it.

Any insights? Many thanks to the people who take time from busy schedules to post on this board.

Hi,

What does "The wrong value" mean? Is it actually wrong or just not what your requirements say it should be? Can you figure out what it is doing currently to arrive at the value displayed?

How have you defined the expressions to calculate the averages?

Are you using a relational or dimensional package?

Cheers!

MF.
Meep!
