CCLOutOfMemory Error when publishing packages in FM 10.2

Hi all,

Recently we are finding that when we try to publish packages out of our Framework manager model we have started to encounter this error :

BmtActionHelper.cpp(488): CCLOutOfMemoryError: CCL_THROW: BmtActionsHelper::DoAction

The host that this is running on is Windows 2008 R2 with 8Gb of memory.

What we have noticed is that prior to this error occurring our model.xml file has a file size of around 96Mb and after we get the error the model file size has increased significantly to 150Mb or more in size and once this happens the model.xml file is unusable and we have to go back to a previous copy and try again. The publishing problem doesn't occur everytime or for every package that is held in the model but it is starting to occur more frequently.

Are they are guidelines as to what would be the recommended maximum size of a FWM model? is 96Mb just too big? Does anybody know any other circumstances under which this error could occur?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Looks like the same problem encountered by the OP in this thread:

QuoteIn case anyone is interested, Cognos support has advised downloading the fix pack to ensure FM is the very same version as the server - which I'm yet to try.

That's very interesting, thanks for pointing it out to me.
