Hi Guys

I'm creating a report in Report Studio.

Whenever I execute it, 3 prompts are coming up which I didn't define.

I can't find them whenever I look into the XML definition of the report. So I'm assuming they are hard-coded in the Framework.

Two questions:

(a) Is my assumption above correct?
(b) Is there a way to deactivate them at a report level?

Thanks in advance

MFGF

Hi,

It could certainly be the cause. If there are definitely no filters or query calculations or variable expressions etc in your report utilising those parameters then they could well be in the model. TIf so, the only way you could bypass them would be to use a manually defined SQL query to feed the report - not something you want to do. Talk to the person responsible for your package to see if you can come up with a suitable compromise in the metadata.

Cheers!

MF.

Thanks MF

I did indeed and I'll have to pass a default value to the prompt.

I'll update this thread with the details once i fix the issue.

Thanks again
