Position:Cognos BI Senior Consultant/Project Leader

Revelwood is searching for experienced senior-level consultants with a passion for creating and selling Cognos BI solutions.  We are seeking bright, self-motivated individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  You must have an in-depth understanding of both the Cognos BI technology as well as the business challenges it solves.  You should also be able to demonstrate effective self-management, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.

Job Profile:
Responsibilities
•   Work with our business development staff to market our BI offerings and assist the Revelwood sales team in presenting our offerings, estimating project costs, and winning new deals.
•   Present yourself and Revelwood as a thought leader in the BI community by speaking at seminars and other events.
•   Lead software implementation/customization projects of BI solutions for mid to large sized clients.
•   Provide architectural advice and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
•   Interact with various levels of client personnel, including both financial analysts and IT specialists.
•   Provide industry and/or technology expertise to customers and Revelwood project teams.
•   Contribute to the development of methodologies, approaches, and models relevant to Revelwood's Professional Services organization.
•   Lead and mentor others in the consulting organization.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent

Work Experience:
o   Minimum 5 years of experience working with Cognos BI and related products
o   Experience working with a business development organization to market and sell Cognos BI solutions.

o   Ability to present our offerings to potential customers
o   Strong interpersonal communications with the ability to work in a team environment
o   Strong analytical and problem solving skills
o   Ability to handle and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks
o   Ability to lead train, mentor, and lead other consultants
