MF,
Hello, I'm new to the forum and in need of some help. I have a tough one here that i can't seem to find any posts that cover it.
I'm trying to create a service event by using a roll up logic that I use in SAS. Is this possible in cognos?
For Example:
Member 123 has a service date of 1-1-14 to 1-10-14
their next service is 1-20-14 to 1-30-14
In SAS i say if there if the gap between the services is <=30 then keep the first svc start in this case the 1-1-14 and then assign the svc end as the 1-30-14.
So if Member 123's next service is 2-28-14 to 3-15-14 this will be a new service start of 2/28 not the 1/1/14.
I have a relational db
Does this make sense?
If not I can explain further.
I apologize to post here, however it seems as you have the most knowledge of the topic.
Thank you in advance for any help.
D
