Group has no owner

I as admin, created a group. I did not noticed this before but now the group has no owner. What would have caused this group to 'lose its owner'?

I recently encountered a security anomaly and I am investigating if this has something to do with it.

Have you got more than one namespace configured for authentication, and was the Admin account in namespace 'A' while the account used later to view the properties was namespace 'B'?

Users from different namespaces may not be able to view details of accounts from other namespaces.

Or was the admin account deleted in the interim possibly?   If it was deleted then re-created in the authentication namespace it would get a different CAM ID, and the original ownership wouldn't be re-mapped.

Just a couple of ideas.

Hi,

When you create a group as an admin, the admin becomes the owner of the group. If the user gets deleted from the admin group who had created the group, still remains the owner of the group. We need to change the owner of the group once we log in thru another administrative account.
