Row height when combining cross tabs to mimic a single crosstab

In Report Studio 10, I have 4 crosstabs in a table sharing a common query.  In crosstabs 2-4 I've set the box type to none so that the 4 crosstabs look like a single crosstab.  I've set the row height everywhere to 0.4 cm, yet the total row label cells in crosstab 1 seem to be marginally higher causing a row misalignment with the other crosstabs where these labels are hidden.

Any ideas on how I could resolve this?

Setting the background image property to none in the row titles resolved this.
