How to get user details

Hi ,

Can someone tell me how to find group,directory permissions of a user.

I would need to provide the new user an access of same as the existing user.How will I know the access levels of the existing user.We dont use access manager.

You can do this from Cognos Admin by going to the users profile. For specific objects you have to open the properties on that object then compare.

If you looking for the users specific groups from the authentication provider I'd suggest going through the Authentication providers tools.

You can also use 3rd party tools like MotioPI to get the information.

Thanks for your response.

Actually we have a many folders and very difficult to check each and every folders.

Any other way to find the user access levels in one shot?
