Parameter Map Language Lookup

I created a parameter map for language lookup in Framework Manager.
I created a query subject that retrieves the correct column from a table based on the runtime language.
When I test in Framework Manager all works fine
When I create a report using the query subject all works fine
When I create a drill through to this report the report fails saying it can not return the column Product_Descr_

It looks like the parameter map is not being used during the drill through or the runtime parameter for the language is not available / empty

Any suggestions on how to solve this?
