Tab name truncated while exporting a report into Excel format

I have the below issue in one of my report developed in Cognos 10.2.

While testing, I noticed that some of the tab names in the UAT reports appear to have the tab name truncated to add the number suffix "_#".  In Production reports, the tab name is complete and the tab number suffix "_#" is truncated

Please refer the attached screenshot. In the attachment, tabs marked with Red circle is giving the issue.

Could you please give suggestions to resolve this issue asap.

A bit of a guess here as I need to be leaving in a minute and no time to test, but... I note the truncation occurs on the 28th character in both instances. Since this does not happen on prod, I am going to venture a guess that your Cognos server admin changed an Excel option. You should ask them to make the same changes to your UAT environment.

As per my Admin, some fix pack is available in UAT, but it is not in PROD.

Is this issue related to only fix pack? Please advice if any permananet solutions available from reporting side wihout any involvement of Admin to fix this issue.

Can you please tell me the Excel options available to the Cognos Admins to define the settings for excel exports.
