Hi,
I have created dashboard where I have 2 value prompts , where I choose [Year] and [City], and I have one crosstab and 2 graphs on dashboard with measure [Revenue]. Now I want to create on the same dashboard another value prompt for [Product] which will be optional, so when I choose PRoduct1 I want that all data on that dashboard be by that Product1. Which means [Revenue] for [2013] and [Chicago] and [Product1]. Also to show only one graph which has sense.

I suppose that that is possible by introducing variables, but I do not know how

Thanks

BigChris

Hi,

In the same way as you've created filters in your existing reports for Year and City, you'll need to create a filter for Product. Once you've done that you just need to make the filter optional. I don't know what method you're using to pass 2013 and Chicago (in your example), but you can use the same method for Product.
