I have COGNOS FRAMEWORK MANAGER 10.2 in windows 2008. I'm able to connect to DB2 9.5 in Windows 2003 and import db2 objects and I make packages. When I try to do the same thing to a db in Windows 2008 with DB 9.7 I'm able to connect to db but I haven't objects. Unfortunately I haven't errors. Some idea? Sergio

In my test I have the same DB in DB2 9.5-WINDOWS 2003 and in DB2 9.7-WINDOWS 2008.I have the same db user's authorization and the same user's schema authorization. The import from db2 9.5 is ok. Sergio

I made the bind of the DB from the client db2 in which there is COGNOS FRAMEWORK. The binds are:
bind "C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\bnd\db2schema.bnd" blocking all grant public sqlerror continue
bind "C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\bnd\@db2cli.lst" blocking all grant public action add
Unfortunately I have the same import problem.

Quick thought...
Are you using a DB2 9.5 client to connect to a DB2 9.7 DB?

You need to use the same DB2 client version as the server.

Sergio,

Two little things:  You can edit your own posts , not need to repost . The use of capitals is the equivalent of shouting on the www  ;)

Hi Blom,
editing the post again is a good idea.
I will use capitals only for "(SOLVED)" next time.
Thanks.Sergio

Hi Grim.
I'm trying to install DB2 9.7 fixpack: db2cli.dll are different in two servers. I will let to know on monday. Thanks. Sergio

SERGIO_ITALIA

I installed DB2 fixpack-9.7.400.501-FP004, the same version of DB2 Server target and now is OK!
Thank you!
Sergio :)
