Decimal precision limit in Cognos FM for stored procedure parameter

Hi All,

I am trying to import a stored procedure in FM which has an in parameter with data type decimal (18,2). When I import the procedure in the FM and try to validate it, Cognos throws an error regarding precision and scale (please see screen shot attached). Now, I understand 18,2 is a large decimal number but stored proc works well when called through SQL, so I wanted to know is there a restriction as what can be the precision/scale defined for decimal parameters in FM. Just to add, I am using DB2 database verison 9.7 and connecting through ODBC.

Any insight would be much appreciated.
