Auto Update Widgets on Workspace

Is there a setting so the widgets will automatically update on the Workspace, rather than a user having to manually update each widget?

Using Cognos 10.2.

Hi,

One of my colleagues has recently published an article about this. There is no native method for auto-refresh in the UI, but he has put together two solutions -  one using javascript and one using the Cognos Mashup Service. At the moment these are on an internal community - I will see if he will agree to publisg them externally, and post a link to them if so.

Has your friend agreed to publish his solutions? Real demand for this kind of functionality

This is something we need quite badly, in addition to (If possible) cycling a multi-tabbed workspace.
We use a lot of on-screen displays and currently need to use power point and macros to run it off a Cognos schedule.

Our Cognos partner has been telling me since the beginning of the year that it is in DEV, but doesn't seem to be coming in a hurry.

Has there been any progress on this auto refresh?  I could really use this functionality for a project I am currently working on.

Doesn't look like this is soon in the coming. Running 10.2.2.1 and still nothing
We moved everything to report studio and used the auto-refresh javascript in an HTML item on the page.
All our dashboards are for video wall display.
Without auto-refresh they are essentially useless.
