I have few reports. I want to find out based on what objects(cubes/tables) each report has been prepared. In other words, for each report , i want to find out what is the cube/table behind each report, as well as the location of those cubes/tables

I tend to think that people here on the forum are very responsive considering this is all done on a volunteer basis, so putting "urgent" anywhere in the subject or post isn't really necessary. It always sounds a little bit like a demand to me so perhaps it has the opposite effect of what you intend.

Anyway, regarding the question at hand.....you can open each report and look at the package it is using. You can generate SQL to look at tables within a database that it is using. If you only have a few reports that wouldn't be too cumbersome.

unknown

another way to know the underlying tables would need you to right click on the QueryItems or Query Subjects and selecting Lineage and then Technical View.

I think it is difficult for me.. as there are hundreds of tables in that package..Another thing is : the report is too complex to understand..it picks up data from multiple tables. I dont have report studio installed. Any other way out to know in particular which all tables are being referred?? can we do it by looking into the jsp/html of the page or something like that??

Why do you need to know this info to begin with? If you do not have access to the studios then why would your employer ask you to get this info? Sounds a little fishy to me..
