BIA - How to filter on a dynamic list of values?

I want to be able to filter on a dynamic list of values.  For example, I may want to run a report in BIA that filters on a list of Employee Numbers that I have pulled out of an Excel document that I can paste into a filter, or I may want to filter on a list of jobcodes or pay grades. These lists could be up to a 1000 values (Oracle in list limit).  I don't want to select each value from a prompt but would rather want to paste a list of values.  Is there a "user-friendly" way of doing that?

Not Workspace, but RS and it's a starting point.

What about Cognos 10?  I see the link is for Cognos 8.

It turns out the Cognos 10.1 BIA does not have this feature BUT Cognos 10.2 does.  In 10.2 BIA was renamed to Cognos Workspace Advanced and it will allow you to paste values into a Custom Filter.

See step 5 in the following link:

Unfortunately, it won't allow someone that uses Cognos Workspace (not Advanced) to paste values into a prompt when running the report.  I submitted a feature enhancement request to IBM Cognos.
