I am using Cognos 10.1 and have connection to SQL Server 2008 which was working before. For some reason when importing the view or table to framework manager i am able to import the table or view  definitions however when trying to test sample data  not even header columns come up, then i cannot even see the columns, any idea how to fix this problem? Connection works fine.

Is your Model DQM Enabled?

There are two locations to to enable this and one of them is at the beginning when you first create your model.

I have seen issues very similar to what you are describing in DB2 and SQL Server 2008 when I am working with a DQM model.
When I reached out to IBM for help we ended up submitting some APAR's for it however the easiest work around was to not go DQM on the model and use DQM when you publish the package.
